If you have words, answer me: speak, for I desire you to be justified.

If not, listen to me: be silent, and I will teach you.

And his three friends also ceased any longer to answer Job, for Job was righteous before them.

I have paid close attention to you; and behold, not one of you convinced Job, or answered his words-

And I would plead my own cause, and He would fill my mouth with arguments.

And I would know the remedies which He would speak to me, and I would perceive what He would tell me.

And you have commissioned a man to speak such words.

These things you did, and I kept silent; you thought wickedly that I should be like you, [but] I will reprove you, and set [your offenses] before you.
