Be silent, that I may speak, and cease from my anger,

For who is he that shall plead with me, that I should now be silent, and expire?

I did not suppose that you would answer this way: neither do you understand more than I.

Raise me, and I will speak; then you shall not laugh me to scorn.

Listen to me, for I will speak solemn [truths]; and I will produce right [sayings] from my lips.

For my mouth shall meditate truth, and false lips are an abomination before me.
