They that saw me abhorred me: the very persons whom I had loved, rose up against me.

Therefore I have counted myself vile, and have fainted: and I esteem myself dust and ashes.

You have removed my acquaintance far from me; they have made me an abomination to themselves; I have been delivered up, and have not gone forth.

And I will cut off three shepherds in one month, and My soul shall grieve over them, for their souls cried out against Me.

My relatives have not acknowledged me, and they that knew my name have forgotten me.

then his brother's wife shall come forward before the elders, and shall loose one shoe from off his foot, and shall spit in his face, and shall answer and say, Thus shall they do to the man who will not build his brother's house in Israel.

Then they spat in His face, and beat Him with [their] fists; and they slapped [Him],

And spitting on Him, they took the reed and were striking [Him] on His head.
