What, shall a mortal be pure before the Lord? Or a man be blameless in regard to his works?

But as [for] them that dwell in houses of clay, of whom we also are formed of the same clay, He smites them like a moth.

Truly I know it is so, for how shall a mortal man be righteous before the Lord?

For who, being a mortal, [is such] that he shall be blameless? Or [who that is] born of a woman, that he should be just?

Alas then, abominable and unclean is man, drinking unrighteousness as a draught.

If You, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

And enter not into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight shall no [man] living be justified.

Now we know that as many things as the law says, it speaks to those under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by works of the law no flesh shall be justified in His sight, for through the law [comes] [the] knowledge of sin.

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Have You not taken account even of him, and caused him to enter into judgment before You?

For who shall be pure from uncleanness? Not even one;

For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother conceive me.

In that day every place shall be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for removal and for separation.

among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the senses, and were by nature children of wrath, as also the rest.

And such were some of you! But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
