And I know, O Lord, that You are He that searches the hearts, and You love righteousness. I have willingly offered all these things in simplicity of heart. And now I have seen with joy Your people, who are present here, willingly offering to You.

He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is He well-pleased with the legs of a man.

The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, and in all that hope in His mercy.

False balances are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is acceptable unto Him.

Perverse ways are an abomination to the Lord, but all they that are blameless in their ways are acceptable to Him.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but he that deals faithfully is accepted by Him.

The sacrifices of the ungodly are an abomination to the Lord, but the prayers of them that walk honestly are acceptable to Him.

you that have provoked God with your words. But you said, In what way have we provoked Him? In that you say, Everyone that does evil is a pleasing object in the sight of the Lord, and He takes pleasure in such; and where is the God of justice?

And I have all things and abound. I have been made full, having received from Epaphroditus the things [sent] from you, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

For He already knows my way, and He has tried me as gold.

neither shall I transgress; but I have hid His words in my bosom.

For the end, A Song of David, to Jeduthun. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue; I set a guard on my mouth, while the sinner stood in my presence.

For they that work iniquity have not walked in His ways.

O that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes.

And in this I myself am engaging, having a conscience blameless toward God and men through everything.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
