And I know all that you know, too; and I have no less understanding than you.

But you are all bad physicians, and healers of diseases.

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you become like him.

For I consider [myself] [in] nothing to have been inferior to the most super apostles.

To our shame, I say that we were too weak [for that]! But in whatever anyone is bold (I speak foolishly) I am bold also.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] even more: in labors far more, in beatings immeasurably, in imprisonments far more, in deaths often.

Shall bread be eaten without salt? Or again, is there taste in empty words?

For my wrath cannot cease, for I perceive my food as the smell of a lion [to be] loathsome.

To whom do you attach yourself, or who are you going to assist? Is it not He that has much strength, and He who has a strong arm?

To whom have you given counsel? Is it not to Him who has all wisdom? Who will you follow? Is it not the One who has the greatest power?
