If He would take away, who shall turn Him back? Or who shall say to Him, What have You done?

For [if] He has turned away [His] anger, the whales under heaven have stooped under Him.

And if He should overthrow all things, who will say to Him, What have You done?

And I will make the region of Babylon a desert, so that hedgehogs shall dwell [there], and it shall come to nothing; and I will make it a pit of clay for destruction.

Thus says the Lord: The wall of Babylon was made broad, but it shall be completely broken down, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall not labor in vain, nor the nations fail in [their] rule.

and shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and not rise, because of the evils which I bring upon it.

Because one will say, Edom has been overthrown, but let us return and rebuild the desolate places; thus says the Lord Almighty, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall be called The borders of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord has set Himself forever.

[ 16:12] For the Lord has delivered me into the hands of unrighteous men, and thrown me upon the ungodly.

And the Lord shall deliver you this day into my hand, and I will kill you, and take away your head from off of you, and I will give your limbs and the limbs of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky, and to the wild beasts of the earth; and all the earth shall know that there is a God in Israel.

[ 24:19] And you have told me today what good you have done me, how the Lord shut me up into your hands today, and you did not kill me.

And Abishai said to David, The Lord has delivered your enemy into your hands this day, and now I will strike him to the earth with this spear, once [for all], and I will not have to strike him again.

And I will give him the glory of David; and he shall rule, and there shall be none to speak against him; and I will give him the key of the house of David [upon] his shoulder. And he shall open, and there shall be none to shut; and he shall shut, and there shall be none to open.

For God has shut up all to disobedience, that He might show mercy to all.

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says the Holy [One], the True [One], " He who has the key of David, He that opens and no man shuts, except He that opens, and no man shall open."
