[ 3:20] In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread until you return to the ground out of which you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

For he shall take nothing when he dies; neither shall his glory descend with him.

As he came forth naked from his mother's womb, he shall return back as he came, and he shall receive nothing for his labor, that it should go [with him] in his hand.

[before] the dust also return to the earth as it was, and the spirit return to God who gave it.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain that neither can we carry anything out!

Shall the trumpet sound in the city, and the people not be alarmed? Shall there be evil in a city which the Lord has not wrought?

Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own [things]? Or is your eye evil because I am good?'

to do all that Your hand and Your counsel foreordained to come to pass.

But put forth Your hand, and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to [Your] face.

And Samuel reported all the words, and did not hide them from him. And Eli said, He is the Lord, He shall do that which is good in His sight.

And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, Good [is] the word of the Lord which He has spoken: [only] let there be peace in my days.

[A Psalm] of David, when he changed his countenance before Abimelech; and he let him go, and he departed. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall be continually in my mouth.

But You have cast off and set at nought, You have rejected Your anointed.

You have broken down all his hedges; You have made his strongholds a terror.

You have exalted the right hand of his enemies; You have made all his enemies to rejoice.

You have deprived him of glory; You have broken down his throne to the ground.

How long, O Lord? Will You turn away, forever? Shall Your anger flame out as fire?

What man is there who shall live, and not see death? Shall [anyone] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause.

Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;

Blessed be the Lord forever. Amen and Amen.

Therefore shall the glory of the Lord be in the isles of the sea; the name of the Lord shall be glorious.
