[which was] adorned with [hangings] of fine linen and flax on cords of fine linen and purple, fastened to golden and silver studs, on pillars of Parian marble and stone. [There were] golden and silver couches on a pavement of emerald stone, and of pearl, and of Parian stone, and open-worked coverings variously flowered, [having] roses worked round about;

And Mordecai returned to the palace. But Haman went home mourning, and covered his head.

For they are delivered into the hands of the unrighteous man: He covers the faces of the judges [of the earth]: but if it is not He, who else could it be?

Behold now, the Lord of hosts casts forth and will utterly destroy [such] a man, and will take away your robe and your glorious crown,
