in the third year of his reign, he made a feast for his friends, and the other nations, and to the nobles of the Persians and Medes, and the chief of the satraps.

when the days of the marriage feast were completed, the king made a banquet for the nations who were present in the city six days, in the court of the king's house,

And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a marriage feast.

And his father went down to the woman, and Sampson made there a banquet for seven days, for so the young men are used to doing.

And Sampson said to them, I propound you a riddle: if you will indeed tell it to me, and discover it within the seven days of the feast, I will you give thirty sheets and thirty changes of clothing.

And he said to them, Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet. And they could not explain the riddle for three days.

And Sampson's wife wept before him, and said, You just hate me! You don't love me! For the riddle which you have propounded to the children of my people you have not told me. And Sampson said to her, If I have not told it to my father and my mother, shall I tell it to you?

Go forth, you daughters of Zion, and behold King Solomon, with the crown with which his mother crowned him, in the day of his wedding, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

Let my kinsman come down into his garden, and eat the fruit of his choice berries. I have come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spices; I have eaten my bread with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends, and drink; yes, brethren, drink abundantly.

Whenever you are invited by someone to a wedding celebration, do not sit down in the place of honor, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him;

Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

for on these days the Jews obtained rest from their enemies. And [as to] the month, which was Adar, in which a change was made for them, from mourning to joy, and from sorrow to a good day, to spend the whole of it [in] good days of feasting and gladness, sending portions to their friends, and to the poor.

Ask your servants, and they will tell you. Let then your servants find grace in your eyes, for we have come on a good day; please give whatsoever your hand may find, to your son David.

And the Levites caused all the people to be silent, saying, Be silent, for [it is] a holy day, and do not be grieved.

And those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry, and give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
