A man has nothing good to eat, and to drink, and to show his soul [as] good in his trouble. This also I saw, that it is from the hand of God.

Also, every man who shall eat and drink, and see good in all his labor, [this] is a gift of God.

Behold, I have seen good, that it is a fine thing [for a man] to eat and to drink, and to see good in all his labor in which he may labor under the sun; [all] the number of the days of his life which God has given to him; for it is his portion.

Go, eat your bread with mirth, and drink your wine with a joyful heart; for now God has favorably accepted your works.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to put their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who provides all things richly for us to enjoy,

to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, sharing,

Let my kinsman come down into his garden, and eat the fruit of his choice berries. I have come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spices; I have eaten my bread with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends, and drink; yes, brethren, drink abundantly.

and you shall rejoice in all the good [things] which the Lord your God has given you, [you] and your family, and the Levite, and the stranger that is within you.

And you shall say before the Lord your God, I have fully collected the holy things out of my house, and I have given them to the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow, according to all commands which You have commanded me: I did not transgress Your command, and I did not forget it.

Because of this the Jews dispersed in every foreign land to keep the fourteenth of Adar [as] a holy day with joy, sending portions each to his neighbor.

for on these days the Jews obtained rest from their enemies. And [as to] the month, which was Adar, in which a change was made for them, from mourning to joy, and from sorrow to a good day, to spend the whole of it [in] good days of feasting and gladness, sending portions to their friends, and to the poor.

But the helpless missed not whatever need they had, and I did not cause the eye of the widow to fail.

(for I nourished them as a father from my youth and guided [them] from my mother's womb.)

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil there shall be upon the earth.

Nevertheless give what is inside as alms; and see, all things are clean to you.

And those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry, and give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in Him, and I am helped; my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to Him.

The Lord is the strength of His people, and the saving defender of His anointed.

Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him; and let the children of Zion exalt in their King.

A glad heart promotes health, but the bones of a sorrowful man dry up.

and he touched my mouth and said, Behold, this has touched your lips, and will take away your iniquities, and will purge off your sins.

And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, behold, I am [here], send me. And He said, Go, and say to this people,

And in that day you shall say, I [will] bless You, O Lord; for You were angry with me, but You have turned aside Your wrath, and have pitied me.

Therefore draw water with joy out of the wells of salvation.

Be glad, you thirsty desert; let the wilderness rejoice, and flower as the lily.

Be strong, you relaxed hands and feeble knees.

and they shall greatly rejoice in the Lord. Let my soul rejoice in the Lord; for He has clothed me with the robe of salvation, and the garment of joy; He has put a turban on me as on a bridegroom, and adorned me with ornaments as a bride.

Rejoice then and be glad, you children of Zion, in the Lord your God; for He has given you food fully, and He will rain on you the early and the latter rain, as before.

how that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their generosity.

Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

although I also [am] having confidence in the flesh. If any other [person] thinks to have confidence in the flesh, I even more:
