[accordingly] as the word of God came to him in the days of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

And it was in the days of Joakim, son of Josiah king of Judah, until the eleventh year of Zedekiah king of Judah, [even] until the captivity of Jerusalem in the fifth month.

And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, in the eighth month, that the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah the son of Meshullam the scribe, to the house of the Lord, saying,

And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achobor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,

So Hilkiah the priest went, and Ahikam, Achobor, Shaphan, and Asaiah, to Huldah the prophetess, the mother of Shallum, son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; and she dwelt in Jerusalem in Masena; and they spoke to her.

Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, to prevent his being delivered into the hands of the people, or being killed.

by the hand of Elasah son of Shaphan, and Gemariah son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to [Nebuchadnezzar] king of Babylon, to Babylon) saying,

And Baruch read in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the house of Gemariah son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court, in the entrance of the new gate of the house of the Lord, and in the ears of all the people.

and they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan. And they brought him out, and he sat in the midst of the people.

And all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the children of Ammon, and those [that were] in Edom, and those [that were] in all [the rest of] the country, heard that the king of Babylon [had] granted a remnant to Judah, and that he had appointed over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.

And seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and Jechoniah the son of Shaphan stood in their presence in the midst of them, and each one held his censer in his hand; and the smoke of the incense went up.

The word that came from the Lord to Jeremiah, when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashur, the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah, son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,

Thus says the Lord concerning Ahab [the son of Kolaiah], and concerning Zedekiah: Behold, I [will] deliver them into the hands of the king of Babylon; and he shall slay them in your sight.

I sent you not in My name. And to Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, say,

And Joab the son of Zeruiah [was] over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud [was keeper] of the records.

And Adoram [was] over the tribute; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud [was] recorder.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah [was] over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud [was] recorder.
