And he arose and went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that [was the] highest place, and great. Solomon offered a whole burnt offering of a thousand [victims] on the altar in Gibeon.

And King Solomon offered for the sacrifices of peace offering which he sacrificed to the Lord, twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. And the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.

And David sacrificed to the Lord, and offered up whole burnt offerings to the Lord on the morning after the first day, a thousand calves, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, and their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

And they offered for the dedication of the house of God a hundred calves, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, twelve kids of the goats for a sin offering for all Israel, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
