And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

And the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that lived many days with Joshua, as many as knew all the great work of the Lord, what things He had done in Israel.

What shall I do unto you, Ephraim? What shall I do to you, Judah? For your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that goes away.

And these are similarly the [seeds] being sown on stony ground which, whenever they hear the word, immediately they receive it with joy;

and they have no root in themselves, but are shortlived. Afterward, when trials or persecution arise because of the word, immediately they fall away.

Also from among you yourselves will arise men speaking things having been distorted, [in order] to draw away the disciples after them.

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have seen a vision, and there is no one to interpret it; but I have heard it said concerning you that you can hear dreams and interpret them.

And Pharaoh said to all his servants, Shall we find such a man as this, who has the Spirit of God in him?

And [as for] these four children, God gave them understanding and prudence in all learning and wisdom. And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a night vision; and Daniel blessed the God of heaven, and said,

And I have heard about you, that you are able to make interpretations. Now then, if you are able to read the writing, and to make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple, and there shall be a golden chain upon your neck, and you shall be third ruler in my kingdom.

In the third year of Cyrus king of the Persians a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, and great power and understanding in the vision was given to him.

And he went out to meet Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin, and said, Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord [is] with you, while you are with Him; and if you seek Him out, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

For if you shall undertake to strengthen [yourself] with these, then the lord shall put you to flight before the enemies; for it is of the Lord both to strengthen and to put to flight.

And now, my son, the Lord shall be with you, and prosper [you]; and you shall build a house to the Lord your God, as He spoke concerning you.

Then will He prosper [you], if you take heed to do the commandments and judgments which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel; be courageous and strong; fear not, nor be terrified.

And he shall be as a tree planted by the brooks of waters, which shall yield its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not fall off; and whatsoever he shall do shall prosper.
