The priests repaired above the Horse Gate, [every] man over against his own house.

And Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, and she arose and destroyed all the royal heirs in the house of Judah.

And Adoni-Bezek said, Seventy kings, having their thumbs and their big toes cut off, gathered their food under my table: as I therefore have done, so God has recompensed me: and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

You will destroy all that speak falsehood: the Lord abhors the bloody and deceitful man.

But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; bloody and crafty men shall not live out half their days; but I will hope in You, O Lord.

For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured [back] to you.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying: "You are righteous, the One who is, and who was, holy, because You have judged these things.

And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] Your judgments."
