For the Lord shall judge His people, and shall be comforted over His servants; for He saw that they were utterly weakened, and failed in the hostile invasion, and have become feeble.

A Song of Degrees. I lifted up my eyes to the mountains- from where my help shall come.

My help [shall come] from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.

Behold, as the eyes of servants [are directed] to the hands of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maidservant to the hands of her mistress; so our eyes [are directed] to the Lord our God, until He has mercy upon us.

For my eyes are upon You, O Lord God: I have hoped in You; take not my life away.

[ 2:5] And I said, I am cast out of Your presence: shall I indeed look again toward Your holy temple?
