the king answered and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for a royal residence, by the might of my power, for the honor of my glory?

While the word was yet in the king's mouth, there came a voice from heaven, [saying], King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken, The kingdom has departed from you.

Neither will I by any means profane My covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of My lips.

Once have I sworn by My holiness, that I will not lie to David.

His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

and as the moon [that is] established forever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.
