And the sons of Reuben [were] Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

And these are the heads of the houses of their families: the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel [were] Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. These are the families of Reuben.

Reuben [was] the firstborn of Israel: and the sons of Reuben, Enoch and the family of Hanoch; to Pallu belongs the family of the Palluites.

These [are] the families of Reuben; and their numbering was forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.

And the sons of Eliab [were] Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram: these [are] renowned men of the congregation; these are they that rose up against Moses and Aaron in the gathering of Korah, in the rebellion against the Lord.
