In the second year of Joash the son of Jehoahaz king of Israel, Amaziah the son of Joash the king of Judah began to reign.

Amaziah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name [was] Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

And all the people of Judah took Azariah, and he was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

And Hoshea son of Elah formed a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him and killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Azariah.

Then all the people of the land took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and they made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.

Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah.

Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah.

And the Lord plagued the king, and he was leprous till the day of his death; and he reigned in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son [was] over the household, judging the people of the land.

In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham the son of Azariah king of Judah began to reign.

Jotham [was] twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name [was] Jerushah, daughter of Zadok.

Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah.
