And Joshua cast the lot for them in Shiloh before the Lord.

All [evils] come upon the ungodly into their bosoms, but all good things [come] from the Lord.

When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus, so as to put Him to death.

Now while they were speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them,

as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of high priestly descent.

Now when they heard these words, both the high priest and the captain of the temple, and the chief priests, they were greatly perplexed about them, as to what would come of this.
