And Toi sent Joram his son to King David, to ask him of his welfare, and to congratulate him on his fighting against Hadadezer and smiting him, for he was an enemy to Hadadezer: and in his hands were vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass.

Now the queen of Sheba heard [of] the name of Solomon, and she came to Jerusalem with a very large entourage, to test Solomon with hard questions, and [she had] camels bearing spices in abundance, and gold, and precious stones. And she came to Solomon, and told him all that was in her mind.

And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

And everyone brought their gifts-silver vessels and golden vessels, clothing, myrrh, spices, horses and mules, a set rate every year.

At that time Merodach-Baladan, the son of Baladan, the king of Babylon, sent letters and ambassadors and gifts to Hezekiah; for he had heard that he had been sick, [even] unto death, and had recovered.
