And Nathan said to David, Do all that is in your heart; for God [is] with you.

And behold, I am with you, to preserve you continually wherever you shall go; and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not desert you, until I have done all that I have said to you.

And David was prudent in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.

And Saul saw that the Lord was with David, and that all Israel loved him.

And I was with you wherever you went, and I destroyed all your enemies before you, and I made you renowned according to the renown of the great ones on the earth.

And David placed a garrison in Syria near Damascus, and the Syrians became servants and tributaries to David. And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.

And King David took from Metebac, and from the choice cities of Hadadezer, very much brass; with that Solomon made the bronze sea, and the pillars, and the lavers, and all the furniture.

And he set garrisons in Edom, even in all Edom: and all the Edomites were servants to the king. And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.

And David said, As the Lord lives, the Lord shall strike him, or his day shall come and he die, or he shall go down to battle and be added [to his fathers].

And the Philistines fought with Israel. And the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and they fell down wounded in the mountain in Gilboa.

And the battle prevailed against Saul, and the archers found him, and wounded him below his ribs.

And his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, and he also fell upon his sword, and died with him.

And David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.

I will pursue my enemies, and will utterly destroy them; and I will not turn again till I have consumed them.

And You shall strengthen me with power for the war; You shall cause them that rise up against me to bow down under me.

For the end, [A Psalm] of David, the servant of the Lord; [the words] which he spoke to the Lord, [even] the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord delivered him out the hand of all his enemies, and out the hand of Saul. And he said: I will love You, O Lord, my strength.

And these things were little in Your sight, O God; You have also spoken concerning the house of Your servant for a long time to come, and You have looked upon me as a man looks upon his fellow, and have exalted me, O Lord God.

And David made [himself] a name. And when he returned he struck Edom in Gebelem to [the number of] eighteen thousand.

And there were powerful kings in Jerusalem, and they ruled over all the [country] beyond the river, and abundant revenues and tribute were given to them.

You multiplied Your righteousness, and turned and comforted me, and brought me again out of the depths of the earth.

For God is the judge; He puts one down, and raises up another.

who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;

to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of His people;

He has overthrown the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.
