And the Lord uncovered the ear of Samuel one day before Saul came to him, saying,

The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: Your ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;

Thus says the Lord God: Yet [for] this will I be sought by the house of Israel, to establish them; I will multiply them, [even] men as sheep;

And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we should ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

And if we know that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we know that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.
