Behold, a son shall be born to you, he shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about; for his name [shall be] Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

He shall build a house to My name; and he shall be a son to Me, and I will be a Father to him; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom in Israel forever.

And God said to me, Solomon your son shall build My house and My court; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be to him a Father.

And now [I charge you] before the whole assembly of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek all the commandments of the Lord our God, that you may inherit the good land, and leave it for your sons to inherit after you forever.

See now, for the Lord has chosen you to build Him a house for a sanctuary; be strong and do [it].

And behold, I intend to build a house to the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord God spoke to my father David, saying, Your son whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build a house for My name.

And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared to his father David, in the place which David had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And thus Solomon began to build the house of God: the length in cubits-even the first measurement from end to end, was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

And they answered us thus, saying, We [are] the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we [are] building the house which had been built many years before this, and a great king of Israel built it, and established it for them.

and you shall say to him, Thus says the Lord Almighty; Behold the man whose name is the Branch; and He shall spring up from His stem, and build the house of the Lord.

And He shall receive power, and shall sit and rule upon His throne; and there shall be a priest on His right hand, and a peaceable counsel shall be between them both.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

But He was speaking about the temple of His body.

But Solomon built Him a house.

However, the Most High does not dwell in handmaid sanctuaries, just as the prophet says:

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Pause.

And I will establish his seed forever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

and as the moon [that is] established forever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.

His government shall be great, and of His peace there is no end; [it shall be] upon the throne of David, and [upon] His kingdom, to establish it, and to support [it] with judgment and with righteousness, from this time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and His kingdom shall not be left to another people, [but] it shall beat to pieces and grind to powder all [other] kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet.

Then the seventh angel sounded [his] trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world has become [the kingdom] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
