And there went up a watchman upon the tower of Jezreel, and saw the dust [made by] Jehu as he approached. And he said, I see dust. And Joram said, Take a horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Peace.

And he sent another horseman, and he came to him, and said, Thus says the king, Peace. And Jehu said, What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me.

And it came to pass when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And Jehu said, How [can it be] peace, as long as [there are] the harlotries of your mother Jezebel, and her abundant witchcrafts?

Now run to meet her, and you shall say, [Is it] well with you? [Is it] well with your husband? [Is it] well with the child? And she said, [It is] well.

So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And Naaman saw him running after him, and turned back from his chariot to meet him.

And truth has been taken away, and they have turned aside [their] mind from understanding. And the Lord saw it, and it pleased Him not that there was no judgment.

The Lord has made you priest in the place of Jehoida the priest, to be ruler in the house of the Lord over every prophet, and to every madman, and you shall put them in prison, and into the dungeon.

The days of vengeance have come, the days of your recompense have come; and Israel shall be afflicted as the prophet that is mad, as a man deranged. By reason of the multitude of your iniquities your madness has abounded.

But when His relatives heard, they came out to seize Him, for they were saying, "He has lost His mind."

And many of them said, "He has a demon and is raving mad. Why do you listen to Him?"

And also some of the Epicurean and of the Stoic philosophers were conversing with him. And some were saying, "What does this seed-picker wish to say?" But others [said], "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign deities," because he was preaching the good news of Jesus and the resurrection.

Now as he spoke these things, Festus said with a loud voice, "You are mad, Paul! Your higher learning is driving you to madness!"

We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are despised!

For if we were beside ourselves, it [was] for God; or if we are of sound mind, [it is] for you.
