And the king asked the woman, and she told him. And the king appointed her a eunuch, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field from the day that she left the land until now.

And he said to him, Say now to her, Behold, you have taken all this trouble for us; what should I do for you? Have you any request [to make] to the king, or to the captain of the army? And she said, I dwell in the midst of my people.

And the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, and a woman cried to him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.

So the woman of Tekoa went in to the king and fell upon her face to the earth, and bowed down before him, and said, Help, O king, help.

Judge the orphan and poor; do justice to the low and needy.

Rescue the needy, and deliver the poor out of the hand of the sinner.

They understood not, they judged not the cause of the afflicted, nor the cause of the poor- is not this your not knowing Me? Says the Lord.

Now there was a widow in that city; and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give justice to me against my adversary.'

yet because this widow bothers me I will give justice to her, lest she wear me out by forever coming to me.'"
