And his servant said, Why should I set this before a hundred men? And he said, Give to the people, and let them eat; for thus says the Lord: They shall eat and [have some] left over.

So they ate, and [had some] left over, according to the word of the Lord.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith, let it be unto you."

And he stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands.

For Solomon [had] made a bronze scaffold, and set it in the midst of the court of the sanctuary; the length of it [was] five cubits, and the breadth of it five cubits, and the height of it three cubits. And he stood upon it, and fell upon his knees before the whole congregation of Israel, and spread abroad his hands toward heaven,

And the man of God was grieved at him, and said, If you had struck five or six times, then you would have struck Syria till you had consumed them; but now you shall strike Syria [only] three times.

In this day the manna failed, after they had eaten of the grain of the land, and the children of Israel no longer had manna: and they took the fruits of the land of the Phoenicians in that year.

For thus says the Lord: The pitcher of meal shall not fail, and the jar of oil shall not diminish, until the day that the Lord gives rain upon the earth.

But when they were filled, He said to His disciples, "Gather up the leftover fragments, so that nothing may be lost."
