And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up your loins, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

And the hand of the Lord [was] upon Elijah, and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to Jezreel.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, stay sober, put your hope fully in the grace brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

and he took the mantle of Elijah, which fell from off him, and struck the water, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? And he struck the waters, and they were divided this way and that; and Elisha went over.

And this rod that was turned into a serpent you shall take in your hand, with which you shall work miracles.

Do not carry a money bag, nor a knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and struck the water, and the water was divided on this side and on that side, and they both went over on dry ground.

and he took the mantle of Elijah, which fell from off him, and struck the water, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? And he struck the waters, and they were divided this way and that; and Elisha went over.

And the Lord said to Moses, Say to your brother Aaron, Take your rod in your hand, and stretch forth your hand over the waters of Egypt, and over their rivers, and over their canals, and over their ponds, and over all their standing water, and it shall become blood. And there was blood in all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and of stone.

And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded them. And Aaron, having lifted up [his hand] with his rod, struck the water in the river before Pharaoh and before his servants, and changed all the water in the river into blood.

But lift up your rod, and stretch forth your hand over the sea, and divide it, and let the children of Israel enter into the midst of the sea on the dry land.

And it shall be [that] when you shall sound with the trumpet, all the people shall shout together.

And when they have shouted, the walls of the city shall fall by themselves; and all the people shall enter, each one rushing directly into the city.

And on the basis of faith in His name, this [one] whom you observe and know, was made strong by His name. And the faith, which is by Him, has given to him this wholeness before you all.

so that even handkerchiefs or aprons from his skin were brought to those who were sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out from them.
