Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

And I will defend this city as with a shield, for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.

So the Lord delivered Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem out of the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria, and out of the hand of all [his enemies], and gave them rest round about.

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, Be not afraid, My people who dwell in Zion, of the Assyrians, because he shall smite you with a rod; for I am bringing a stroke upon you, that [you] may see the way of Egypt.
