He trusted in the Lord God of Israel. And after him there was none like him among the kings of Judah, nor among those that were before him.

Now then, if you are ready, whenever you shall hear the sound of the trumpet, pipe, harp, sackbut, psaltery, harmony, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the golden image which I have made, [fine;] but if you will not worship, in the same hour you shall be cast into the burning fiery furnace; and who is the God that shall deliver you out of my hand?

He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He'll [have] Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"

He removed the high places, and broke in pieces the pillars, and utterly destroyed the groves, and the bronze serpent which Moses made, because until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it; and he called it Nehushtan.

And when all these things were finished, all Israel that were found in the cities of Judah went out, and broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the groves, and tore down the high places and the altars out of all Judea and Benjamin, also of Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. And all Israel returned, everyone to his inheritance, and to their cities.

Is not this Hezekiah who has taken down his altars and his high places and has spoken to Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, You shall worship before this altar and burn incense upon it?

But if you say, We trust in the Lord our God;

But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no man.
