And it came to pass in the morning, when the sacrifice was offered, that behold, waters came from the way of Edom, and the land was filled with water.

One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer in the evening.

And you shall offer the second lamb in the evening, after the manner of the morning offering, and according to the drink offering of the morning lamb; you shall offer it to the Lord for a sweet-smelling aroma,

Command the children of Israel, and you shall speak to them, saying, You shall observe to offer My gifts to Me in My feasts, My presents, and My burnt offerings for a sweet-smelling savor.

You shall offer one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the second lamb towards evening.

[It is] a perpetual whole burnt offering, a sacrifice offered in the Mount of Sinai for a sweet-smelling savor to the Lord.

And the second lamb you shall offer toward evening; you shall offer it according to its grain offering and according to its drink offering for an aroma of sweet savor to the Lord.

[It is] a whole burnt offering of the Sabbaths on the Sabbath days, besides the continued whole burnt offering, and its drink offering.

yes, while I was yet speaking in prayer, behold the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, [came] flying, and he touched me about the hour of the evening sacrifice.

And one week shall establish the covenant with many. And in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink offering shall be taken away: and on the temple [shall be] the abomination of desolations; and at the end of the time an end shall be put to the desolation.

And seeds shall spring up out of him, and they shall profane the sanctuary of strength, and they shall remove the perpetual [sacrifice], and make the abomination of desolation.

And from the time of the removal of the perpetual sacrifice, when the abomination of desolation shall be set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

And if the whole congregation of Israel should trespass ignorantly, and a thing should escape the notice of the congregation, and they should do one thing forbidden of any of the commands of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and should transgress;

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the calf before the Lord, and they shall slay the calf before the Lord.

And the priest shall dip his finger into some of the blood of the calf, and shall sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

And he shall take away all the fat from it, and shall offer it up on the altar.

And they shall carry forth the calf whole outside the camp, and they shall burn the calf as they burned the former calf: it is the sin-offering of the congregation.

and his trespass in which he has sinned be known to him, then shall he offer for his gift a kid of the goats, a male without blemish.

And the priest shall put some of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger on the horns of the altar of whole burnt offering; and he shall pour out all its blood by the bottom of the altar of whole burnt offerings.

And they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle which David pitched for it. And David offered whole burnt offerings before the Lord, [and] peace offerings.

And David made an end of offering the whole burnt offerings and peace offerings, and blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.

And he arose and went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that [was the] highest place, and great. Solomon offered a whole burnt offering of a thousand [victims] on the altar in Gibeon.

In that day the king consecrated the middle of the court in the front of the house of the Lord; for there he offered the whole burnt offering, and the sacrifices, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which was before the Lord [was too] small to bear the whole burnt offering and the sacrifices of peace offerings.

And the king and all the people [were] offering sacrifices before the Lord.

And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand calves, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

And he brought seven calves, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven kids of goats for a sin-offering, for the kingdom, and for the holy things, and for Israel. And he told the priests, the sons of Aaron, to go up to the altar of the Lord.

And they brought the goats for a sin offering before the king and the congregation, and laid their hands upon them.

And the prince shall offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord on the Sabbath day, six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish;

And on the day of the new moon a calf without blemish, and six lambs, and there shall be a ram without blemish;

And if the prince should prepare [as] a thanksgiving a whole burnt peace offering to the Lord, and should open for himself the gate looking eastward, and offer his whole burnt offering, and his peace offerings, as he does on the Sabbath day; then shall he go out, and shall shut the doors after he has gone out.

And he shall prepare a freewill offering for it in the morning, the sixth part of a measure [of flour], and a third part of a hin of oil to mix [with] the fine flour, [as] a freewill offering to the Lord, a perpetual ordinance.

He removed the high places, and broke in pieces the pillars, and utterly destroyed the groves, and the bronze serpent which Moses made, because until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it; and he called it Nehushtan.

Why have you stolen my silver cup? Is it not this out of which my lord drinks? And he practices divination with it. You have accomplished evil in that which you have done.

He also passed his children through the fire in the valley of the Son of Hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, divination, and sorceries, and appointed those who had divining spirits, and enchanters, and wrought abundant wickedness before the Lord, to provoke Him.

For He has forsaken His people the house of Israel, because their land is filled as at the beginning with divinations, as the [land] of the Philistines, and many strange children were born to them.

They asked counsel by [means of] signs, and they reported answer to them by their staves: they have gone astray in a spirit of harlotry, and gone grievously a-whoring from their God.
