And Elisha said to him, Take a bow and some arrows. And he took them. And [he] said to the king of Israel, Strike the ground. And the king struck three times, and he stopped.

And the man of God was grieved at him, and said, If you had struck five or six times, then you would have struck Syria till you had consumed them; but now you shall strike Syria [only] three times.
