So Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of his father David; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his place.
2 Kings 8:29
Then King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds with which they wounded him in Ramoth, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah son of Jehoram went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
2 Kings 9:21-27

And Joram said, Make ready. And one made ready the chariot. And Joram the king of Israel went forth, and Ahaziah king of Judah, each in his chariot, and they went to meet Jehu, and found him on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And it came to pass when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And Jehu said, How [can it be] peace, as long as [there are] the harlotries of your mother Jezebel, and her abundant witchcrafts?

And Joram turned his hands and fled, and said to Ahaziah, Treachery, Ahaziah!

And Jehu bent his bow with his full strength, and struck Joram between his arms, and his arrow went out at his heart, and he sank down upon his knees.

And [Jehu] said to Bidkar his chief officer, Cast him into the portion of ground of Naboth the Jezreelite, for you and I remember, [as we were] riding on chariots after Ahab his father, that the Lord took up this burden against him, [saying],

Surely, I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, says the Lord; and I will recompense him on this property, says the Lord. Now then, I pray, take him up and cast him into the plot [of ground], according to the word of the Lord.

But when Ahaziah king of Judah saw [it], he fled by the way of Beth Haggan. And Jehu pursued after him, and said, [Slay] him also. So one shot him in the chariot at the Ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
2 Chronicles 21:17
and they went up against Judah, and prevailed against them, and took away all the possessions which they found in the house of the king, and his sons, and his daughters; and there was no son left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
2 Chronicles 22:1-10

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Jehoahaz his youngest son king in his place, for the band of robbers that came against them, even the Arabians and the Alimazonians, had slain all the elder ones. So Jehoahaz son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

Jehoahaz began to reign when he was twenty years old, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Athaliah, the granddaughter of Omri.

And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab; for his mother was his counselor to do evil.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord as the house of Ahab [had done]; for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his destruction.

And he walked in their counsels, and he went with Jehoram son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria to Ramoth Gilead. And the archers struck Joram.

And Joram returned to Jezreel to be healed of the wounds wherewith the Syrians smote him in Ramoth, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel because he was sick.

And destruction from God came upon Ahaziah in [his] coming to Jehoram; for when he had come, Jehoram went out with him against Jehu the son of Nimshi, the anointed of the Lord against the house of Ahab.

And it came to pass, when Jehu was taking vengeance on the house of Ahab, that he found the princes of Judah and the brethren of Ahaziah, ministering to Ahaziah, and he slew them.

And he gave orders to seek for Ahaziah. And they took him while he was healing his wounds in Samaria, and they brought him to Jehu, and he killed him. And they buried him, for they said, He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with all his heart. So there was none in the house of Ahaziah to secure their power in the kingdom.

And Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, and she arose and destroyed all the royal heirs in the house of Judah.
