And he walked in all the way of Asa his father: he turned not from it, even from doing that which was right in the eyes of the Lord. Only he took not away [any] of the high places; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense on the high places.

And let our hearts be perfect toward the Lord our God, to walk circumspectly in all His ordinances, and to keep His commandments, as at this day.

And it came to pass in the time of Solomon's old age, that his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as [was] the heart of David his father.

But they removed not the high places; they still existed in Israel. Nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

And he brought in the holy things of David his father, and the holy things of the house of God, silver, and gold, and vessels.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout all the earth, to strengthen every heart that is perfect toward Him. In this you have done foolishly; henceforth there shall be war with you.
