And he reigned three years over Jerusalem; and his mother's name [was] Maachah, daughter of Absalom.

And he removed Ana his mother from being queen, forasmuch as she gathered a meeting in her grove: and Asa cut down her retreats, and burnt them with fire in the Brook of Kidron.

And afterwards he took to himself Maachah, granddaughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom more than all his wives and all his concubines; for he had eighteen wives and sixty concubines. And he begot twenty-eight sons, and sixty daughters.

He reigned three years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Maachah, daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
