But My mercy I will not take from him, as I took it from those whom I removed from My presence.

And his house shall be made sure, and his kingdom forever before Me, and his throne shall be established forever.

I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to Me a son; and My mercy will I not withdraw from him, as I withdrew [it] from them that were before you.

And I will establish him in My house and in his kingdom forever; and his throne shall be set up forever.

And I will defend this city as with a shield, for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.

A Song of Degrees. Lord, remember David, and all his meekness:

There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for My Anointed.

His government shall be great, and of His peace there is no end; [it shall be] upon the throne of David, and [upon] His kingdom, to establish it, and to support [it] with judgment and with righteousness, from this time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.

And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end."

But in the place which the Lord your God shall choose in one of your cities to name His name there, and to be called upon, you shall even seek [Him] out and go there.

This is My rest forever: here will I dwell; for I have chosen it.

And what shall the kings of the nations answer? That the Lord has founded Zion, and by Him the poor of the people shall be saved.

For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as light, and My salvation burn as a torch.

For there is none like You, when He shall have established, and made Jerusalem a praise on the earth.
