And I said, I will inform you, saying, Buy it before those that sit, and before the elders of my people: if you will redeem it, redeem it, but if you will not redeem it, [then] tell me, and I shall know; for there is no one beside you to redeem [it], and I am after you. And he said, I am [here], I will redeem it.

And the Lord uncovered the ear of Samuel one day before Saul came to him, saying,

Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; but a body You have prepared for me; whole burnt offering and [sacrifice] for sin You did not require.

For You, O Lord my God, have revealed to the ear of Your servant that You will build him a house; therefore Your servant has found a willingness to pray before You.

And now, O Lord, You Yourself are God, and You have spoken these good things concerning Your servant.

The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: Your ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;
