And he brought back Abner to Hebron, and Joab caused him to turn aside from the gate to speak to him, laying wait for him; and he stabbed him there in the loins, and he died for the blood of Asahel the brother of Joab.

until I come and remove you to a land like your own land, a land of grain and wine, and bread and vineyards, a land of olive oil and honey, and you shall live and not die; and do not hearken to Hezekiah, for he deceives you, saying, The Lord shall deliver you.

And there was much murmuring among the crowds concerning Him. Some on the one hand were saying, "He is a good [Man]"; [while] others were saying, "No, on the contrary, He deceives the people."

Then the Pharisees answered them, "Have you also been deceived?

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, everyone who judges, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself, for you who judge are practicing the same things.

And the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun their lord, [Is it] to honor your father before you that David has sent comforters to you? Has not David rather sent his servants to you that they should search the city, and spy it out and examine it?

And Joseph remembered his dream, which he saw; and he said to them, You are spies! You have come to see the exposed parts of the land!

And he said to them, No, but you have come to see the exposed parts of the land.

Send one of you, and take your brother; and you shall be kept in prison, until your words may be tested, whether you speak the truth or not; but, if not, by the life of Pharaoh, surely you are spies.

who shall go out before them, and who shall come in before them, and who shall lead them out, and who shall bring them in; so the congregation of the Lord shall not be as sheep without a shepherd.

Blessed shall you be in your coming in, and blessed shall you be in your going out.

And the captains of the Philistines were displeased at him, and they said to him, Send the man away, and let him return to his place, which you have appointed for him; and let him not come with us to the war, and let him not be a traitor in the camp. And with what will he be reconciled to his master? Will it not be with the heads of those men?

And Achish called David and said to him, [As] the Lord lives, you [are] right and approved in my eyes, and so is your going out and your coming in with me in the army, and I have not found any evil to charge against you from the day that you came to me until this day. But you are not approved in the eyes of the lords.

The Lord shall keep your coming in, and your going out, from this time forth and forever.

But now I know your dwelling place, and your going out, and your coming in.
