And King David sent to Zadok and Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak to the elders of Israel, saying, Why are you the last to bring back the king to his house, since the word of all Israel have come to the king, to this [very] house?

And you shall say to Amasa, [Are] you not my bone and my flesh? And now God do so to me and more also, if you shall not be commander of the army before me continually in the place of Joab.

And the king returned, and came as far as the Jordan. And the men of Judah came to Gilgal on their way to meet the king, to cause the king to pass over the Jordan.

A ruler shall not fail from Judah, nor a prince from his loins, until there come the things stored up for him; and He is the expectation of nations.

Then the crowds who went before, and those following were crying out, saying: "Hosanna to the Son of David! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' Hosanna in the highest!"
