For they cannot sleep, unless they have done evil: their sleep is taken away, and they rest not.

And their feet run to wickedness, [and are] swift to shed blood; their thoughts also are thoughts of murder; destruction and misery are in their ways;

and the way of peace they know not, neither is there judgment in their ways; for their paths by which they go are crooked, and they know not peace.

But You, O Lord, are my helper; my glory, and the One that lifts up my head.

I laid down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord will help me.

I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, have caused me to dwell securely.

for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the crafty have been opened against me; they have spoken against me with a crafty tongue.

Instead of loving me, they falsely accused me; but I continued to pray.
