And Moses was exceeding indignant, and said to the Lord, Take no heed to their sacrifice; I have not taken away the desire of anyone of them, neither have I hurt anyone of them.

By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying concerning his gifts; and through it, although he died, he still speaks.

And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and behold it was not [favorable] toward him as before.

For wrath destroys the foolish one, and envy slays him that has gone astray.
