And Jacob set up a pillar on her tomb; this is the pillar on the tomb of Rachel, until this day.

And Jacob rose up in the morning, and took the stone he [had] laid there by his head, and he set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on the top of it.

And he called the name of that place, the House of God; and the name of the city before was Luz.

And Moses built an altar to the Lord, and called the name of it, The Lord my Refuge.

And Samuel took a stone, and set it up between Mizpah and the old [city]; and he called the name of it Ebenezer, stone of the helper; and he said, Thus far has the Lord helped us.
