And Abraham rose up in the morning and saddled his donkey, and he took with him two servants, and Isaac his son, and having split wood for a whole burnt offering, he arose and departed, and came to the place of which God spoke to him,

I prepared myself, (and was not terrified) to keep Your commandments.

Whatsoever your hand shall find to do, do with all your might; for there is no work nor device nor knowledge nor wisdom in Hades, where you are going.

I am God that appeared to you in the place of God where you anointed a pillar to Me, and vowed to Me there a vow; now then arise and depart out of this land, depart into the land of your nativity, and I will be with you.

And Jacob, having taken a stone, set it up for a pillar.

And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where God spoke with him, [even] a pillar of stone; and offered a libation upon it, and poured oil upon it.

And Jacob set up a pillar on her tomb; this is the pillar on the tomb of Rachel, until this day.

And he wrote these words in the Book of the Laws of God. And Joshua took a great stone, and set it up under the oak before the Lord.

And Joshua said to the people, Behold, this stone shall be among you for a witness, for it has heard all the words that have been spoken to it by the Lord; for He has spoken to you this day; and this [stone] shall be among you for a witness in the last days, whenever you shall deal falsely with the Lord my God.

And Samuel took a stone, and set it up between Mizpah and the old [city]; and he called the name of it Ebenezer, stone of the helper; and he said, Thus far has the Lord helped us.

Now Absalom, while he was yet alive, had taken and set up for himself the pillar near which he was taken, and set it up so as to have the pillar in the king's valley; for he said he had no son to keep his name in remembrance: and he called the pillar, Absalom's Hand, until this day.

In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the land of the Egyptians, and a pillar to the Lord by its border.

And Moses took of the anointing oil,

And Moses poured of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron; and he anointed him and sanctified him.

And it came to pass in the day in which Moses finished the setting up of the tabernacle, that he anointed it, and consecrated it, and all its furniture, and the altar and all its furniture; he anointed them, and consecrated them.
