And Jacob rose up in the morning, and took the stone he [had] laid there by his head, and he set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on the top of it.

And Jacob said to his brethren, Gather stones; and they gathered stones and made a heap, and ate there upon the heap; and Laban said to him, This heap witnesses between me and you this day.

And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

Because just as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
