And these [are] their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael [was] Nabajoth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. These [were] the sons of Ishmael.

and Basemath, daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nabajoth.

And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nebaioth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on My altar, and My house of prayer shall be glorified.

Woe is me, that my sojourning is prolonged; I have dwelled among the tents of Kedar.

I am dark, but beautiful, you daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

For thus said the Lord to me, Yet a year, as the year of a hireling, [and] the glory of the sons of Kedar shall fail;

and the remnant of the strong bows of the sons of Kedar shall be small; for the Lord God of Israel has spoken [it].

Rejoice, you wilderness, and the villages thereof, the hamlets, and the dwellers in Kedar; the inhabitants of the rock shall rejoice, they shall shout from the top of the mountains.
