And the sons of Heth answered Abraham, saying, Not so, sir,

And Abraham rose up and bowed himself to the people of the land, to the sons of Heth.

And Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and the Hittite,

[even] the field and the cave which Abraham bought from the sons of Heth; there they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife.

And Rebecca said to Isaac, I am weary of my life, because of the daughters of the sons of Heth; if Jacob shall take a wife of the daughters of this land, where then should I live?

in the double cave which is opposite Mamre, in the land of Canaan, the cave which Abraham bought from Ephron the Hittite for a possession, for a tomb.

And David answered and spoke to Abimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, the brother of Joab, saying, Who will go in with me to Saul into the camp? And Abishai said, I will go in with you.
