And the Angel of the Lord said to her, Behold you are with child, and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael, for the Lord has hearkened to your humiliation.

And the Lord said to Moses, I have surely seen the affliction of My people that is in Egypt, and I have heard their cry [caused] by their taskmasters; for I know their affliction.

And if you should afflict them by ill treatment, and they should cry aloud to Me, I will surely hear their voice.

For this is his clothing, this is the only covering of his nakedness; how shall he sleep? If then he shall cry to Me, I will hearken to him, for I am merciful.

And Jehoahaz pleaded with the Lord, and the Lord hearkened to him, for He saw the affliction of Israel, because the king of Syria afflicted them.

And the Lord had mercy and compassion upon them, and had regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraam, Isaac, and Jacob; and the Lord would not destroy them, and did not cast them out from His presence.

And call upon Me in the day of affliction; and I shall deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. Pause.

Hear my prayer; to You all flesh shall come.

He shall call upon Me, and I will hearken to him; I am with him in affliction; and I will deliver him, and glorify him.

Now Jesus, having summoned His disciples, He said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been remaining with Me three days, and they do not have anything to eat. And I do not desire to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."

And the Angel of the Lord said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.

And the children of Dan turned their face, and said to Micah, What is the matter with you that you have cried out?

The word of the valley of Zion. What has happened to you, that you now are all going up to the housetops, which help you not?

And after these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I [am] your shield. Your reward shall be very great.

And He said to him, I am the God of your fathers; fear not to go down into Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And Moses said to the people, Be of good courage: stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for us this day; for as you have seen the Egyptians today, you shall see them again no more forever.

They wandered in the wilderness in a dry land; they found no way to a city of habitation.

Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and He delivered them out of their distresses.

Fear not; for I am with you; wander not; for I am your God, who has strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with My righteous right hand.

For I am your God, who holds your right hand, who says to you,

Fear not, Jacob, [and you] Israel few in number; I have helped you, says your God, He that redeems you, O Israel.

And now thus says the Lord God that made you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel, Fear not; for I have redeemed you, I have called you [by] your name; you are Mine.

And if you pass through water, I am with you; and the rivers shall not overflow you; and if you go through the fire, you shall not be burned; the flame shall not burn you.

But Jesus immediately when He heard the word being spoken, said to the synagogue leader, "Do not be afraid; only believe."
