And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air, and to the beasts of the earth.

And now consider what you will do; for mischief is determined against our lord and against his house; and he is a vile character, and one cannot speak to him.

He that reproves evil [men] shall get dishonor to himself, and he that rebukes an ungodly [man] shall disgrace himself.

Rebuke not evil men, lest they should hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.

who say, Depart from me, draw not near to me, for I am pure. This is the smoke of My wrath, a fire burns with it continually.

And you retained many shepherds for a stumbling block to yourself. You had a whore's face; you became shameless toward all.

They were ashamed because they failed; yet they were not ashamed as those who were [truly] ashamed, and they knew not their own disgrace; therefore shall they [utterly] fall when they do fall, and in the time of visitation shall they perish, says the Lord.

Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

And Lot dwelt in a city of the neighboring people, and pitched his tent in Sodom.

And he said, Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Will you slay me as you slew the Egyptian yesterday? Then Moses was alarmed, and said, If [it be] thus, this matter has become known.

And on the next day he appeared to them as they were fighting, and [tried to] reconcile them to peace, saying, 'Men, you are brothers; why do you wrong one another?'

'Do you desire to kill me in the way that you did the Egyptian yesterday?'

and He rescued righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the indecent conduct of lawless [men]

(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, tormented his righteous soul by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)--

And the Lord said, Behold, [there is] one race, and one language of all, and they have begun to do this, and now nothing shall fail from them of all that they have undertaken to do.

And if the man that sacrificed said, First let the fat be burned, as it is fit, and take for yourself of all things which your soul desires. Then he would say, No, but you shall give it to me now; and if not I will take it by force.

A wise man fears, and departs from evil, but the fool trusts in himself, and joins himself with the transgressor.

Care may befall a man of understanding, but fools will meditate evils.

A stone is heavy and sand cumbersome, but a fool's wrath is heavier than both.

There is this evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all. Yea, the heart of the sons of men is filled with evil, and madness is in their heart during their life, and after that [they go] to the dead.

The beginning of the words of his mouth is folly, and the end of his talk mischievous madness.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and the form of his countenance was changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And he gave orders to heat the furnace seven times [more than usual], until it should burn to the uttermost.

Then those men were bound with their coats, caps, and trousers, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace,
