Have you not sinned if you have brought it rightly, but not rightly divided it? Be still, to you shall be his submission, and you shall rule over him.

Now then take seven bullocks, and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and he shall offer a burnt offering for you. And My servant Job shall pray for you, for I will only accept him: for but his sake, I would have destroyed you, for you have not spoken the truth against My servant Job.

So Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Minaean, went and did as the Lord commanded them: and He pardoned their sin for the sake of Job.

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears [are open] to their prayer;

He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.

He will perform the desire of them that fear Him: and He will hear their supplication, and save them.

Thus says the Lord to this people: They have loved to wander, and they have not spared, therefore God has not prospered them; now will He remember their iniquity.

A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoldering wick He shall not quench, till He bring forth justice to victory;

I say to you, even if he will not get up and give to him, because he is his friend, yet on account of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

Therefore He was obligated to become like His brothers in all [respects], in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things [pertaining] to God, in order that He might make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but having been tempted in all [respects] in quite the same way as [we are], yet without sin.

Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you and magnify your name, and you shall be blessed.

Should there be fifty righteous in the city, will You destroy them? Will You not spare the whole place for the sake of the fifty righteous, if they be in it?
