And the Lord said to Abraham, Why is it that Sarah has laughed in herself, saying, Shall I then indeed bear? But I have grown old.

Shall anything be impossible with the Lord? At the appointed time I shall return to you, and Sarah shall have a son.

And the Angel of the Lord said to her, I will surely multiply your seed, so that they shall not be numbered for multitude.

Then the Angel of the Lord called Abraham the second time out of heaven, saying,

I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and on My account have not spared your beloved son,

But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this time, in the next year.

And she conceived and bore to Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time according as the Lord spoke to him.

And Elisha said to her, At this time [next year], as the season [is], you [shall be] alive, and embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord, do not lie to your servant.

And the woman conceived, and bore a son at the very time, as the season was, being alive, as Elisha said to her.

And I will bless her, and give you a son by her, and I will bless him, and he shall become nations, and kings of nations shall be of him.

And God said to Abraham, Yea, behold, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to him and to his seed after him.

But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this time, in the next year.

And she conceived and bore to Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time according as the Lord spoke to him.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to the woman, and said to her, Behold, you are barren and have not given birth; yet you shall conceive a son.

for behold, you are with child, and shall bring forth a son; and there shall come no razor upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, because your prayer has been heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear a son to you, and you shall call his name John.

That is, those who are the children of the flesh, are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

For this is the word of promise: "At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son."

But he who was of the servant girl was born according to the flesh, and he of the free woman through the promise,

But we, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
